In evening, there I was sitting in my drawing room going through the project task assigned by Amal Academy to its fellows, I am one of them luckily :). In this project, we were supposed to examine our current area and find at least one thing which we can fix.

So, our helper already cleaned the room in the morning so there was nothing as such to clean or organize, but looking here and there, my eyes catched the roof that had a bulb holder without a bulb. All of the sudden, I thought I can fix this and their is no need to wait for electrician to do this job. Here is how this room looks without the bulb.

Holder without a bulb, need to be fixed

After finding the problem, I went to Light store to buy an LED bulb in order to solve the problem.

Then I draw the work ladder from store room in order to climb up to the roof to place the bulb in its holder.

Now here you go, when I fixed it. The difference may not be that much clear in picture but it really changed whole environment of the room through its brightness.

Here you go to see the whole view.

To better understand the whole story, I summarized the whole story in one picture. Here it is.

My key takeaways from this assignment would be how to become a leader by taking responsibility of a task, my parents appreciated this work of mine because I did it without them asking me to do it. I really felt good after it, thanks to Amal because I would not have done it at this time without this assignment.

This is a very small example of showing leadership but this gave me a sense of how taking responsibility can make you a leader in that domain. From now onwards, whether it is in my personal or professional life, I will follow this tip of taking responsibility in order to lead.
